New Caledonia’s Journée de la Citoyenneté on September 24th is the country’s yearly celebration of its unique heritage and cultural differences.
The Alliance Française network in New Zealand will be honouring our closest French-Pacific neighbour throughout the months of September and October with a calendar of events in each city.
With the recent unrest in Nouméa, this New Caledonia Season is an opportunity to show support for New Caledonia while learning about the culture and discovering the vision of young artists.
This year’s highlights will include the 5th edition of the New Caledonia Film Festival, as well as a range of events for the whole family centered around gastronomy, art and culture round out the calendar, inviting you to learn all about Le Caillou.
