Also known as “Katricoin”, Table-Unio is nestled in the mountains, not far from a charming river with waterfalls and water holes. Here, nature rules and time is forgotten. The discovery weekend with the women's association is held every third weekend of the month and is a gateway to the Kanak world. Immerse yourself in the tribe’s life as you visit the market, take walks, enjoy traditional meals and have a go at weaving and camping. A truly unforgettable experience. The association also organises an unmissable event every year: the night of the bats! It’s an opportunity to get to know these creatures and meet different ecological stakeholders.
Eliane, the association's president, confidently manages a variety of initiatives to protect the tribe's unique environment by educating people about composting, liquid manure and waste collection and recycling.
There's a large sheltered kitchen, 5 toilets (one suitable for people with disabilities), 3 showers (1 suitable for people with disabilities), a dormitory, a bedroom, a large communal area, a campsite and... an abundance of nature!
