Camp by the sea on the Ouano Peninsula at a friendly, relaxed campsite run by a Franco-Japanese couple!

The only campsite on the Ouano Peninsula right by the sea, the Caledonian Wake Park is an enclosed site with direct access to the beach. Patrick is from New Caledonia and his wife Fumi is from Japan. Together, they have created a welcoming campsite with a swimming pool, kayak and paddle board hire and dining options. The deliciously light Japanese food served at the snack bar is one of the place’s highlights. For kitesurfing enthusiasts, the best spot in Ouano is two minutes away and for divers, La Foa Plongée dive company is on site. There are two accommodation options to choose from: a simple pitch or a pitch with “faré” hut, table, chairs, barbecue and power outlet. The separate men's and women's ablutions blocks with hot water are greatly appreciated after a day spent in the water. The site also offers bungalow accommodation.
