The Calédonie Charter association (a non-profit association under the law of 1901) was created in 2010 and brings together 13 charter companies. Its purpose is to observe humpback whales in New Caledonia’s Great Southern Lagoon while ensuring there is minimal impact on these mammals. A signatory of the Cetacean Watching Charter established with the South Province, the association works closely with the Department of the Environment and the Opération Cétacés association to raise public...
