You’ll stay on Élise’s property surrounded by lush countryside. The accommodation set by the river comprises a traditional thatched “faré” which sleeps up to 10 people in bunk beds. A shared ablutions block with hot water and an area for eating meals or making a fire complete the offering. Élise is an amazing woman who will give you a genuine welcome. Seated under the outdoor “faré”, you’ll have the opportunity to taste her beautifully prepared meals like bougna, or take part in a weaving workshop. In the morning, you’ll wake up to birdsong and the sound of the river flowing. There is an option to book a shuttle between La Foa and Oui Poin.
