The Church of St. Francis Xavier in Easo was one of the first churches built in Lifou.
Located on the side of the road, this church with its remarkable architecture is built on the site of the very first Catholic mission on the island, the Saint-François-Xavier mission, established in 1858 by the Marist Fathers Montrouzier and Palazy.
