Essence de graine - Fabrique artisanale d’huiles et de cosmétiques 100% naturels

Essence de Graine was created in 2017 by Andrés Vega. A former IRD researcher who left France for love, he dreamed of using natural products from Yaté to produce natural, high-quality cosmetics for New Caledonians.

To achieve this, he set out to revive and make use of the knowledge of medicine passed down through the women of the Yaté tribes. These women are now using their ancestral knowledge to make the company’s products. Essence de Graine offers its customers a wide range of natural cosmetics:

- Bancoulier, tamanu, avocado and organic chilli oils
- Snail slime serum
- Anti-ageing oil
- Soothing skincare oil
- Massage oil
- Moisturising cream made with natural vegetable oils
- Bancoulier and tamanu shampoos
- Saponified soap with tamanu, olive and sweet almond oils

○ Pharmacie de Yaté in Waho (Monday to Thursday, 8 am-12.30 pm and 1.30-5.45 pm, and Friday until 4.30 pm)
○ The Great South Tourist Office in Boulari (Monday to Friday, 8.30 am-12.30 pm and 1.30-5 pm, and Saturday, 9 am-4 pm)
