It’s a real eco-sanctuary, where you can spot many different bird species like the whistling eagle and the iconic New Caledonian crow, renowned for being the most intelligent bird in the world. The Fournier Marsh Bird Observatory is equipped with binoculars, so visitors can see these remarkable birds close up. Visitors can also explore the area around the marsh by following walking trails like the Giants’ Trail (Sentier des Géants).
