Try an unrivalled nocturnal experience in a Canadian canoe, and revel in the unique experience of an alliance between the Earth, Water and Sky. It’s an intoxicating sight bathed in the enchanting silence and mysterious power of the moon.
Details:
Meet at the park gate at closing time where you will be transported to the launching spot. Board the Canadian canoes before dark and enjoy the first crossing of the drowned forest (about 1½ hours).
The moon is an enchanting sight that varies with the lunar calendar as soon as night begins to fall. You may get a glimpse of the moon rising above the mountain ridges on the way. Then it’s time for a well-deserved break. Enjoy a meal prepared in advance by your friendly guides who will offer you a nice hot drink (with a shot if you need it).
The return journey follows the same or a slightly different course depending on the water level, except this time it’s dark. The drowned forest is exclusively lit by the moon!
*Children aged 8 accepted with one parent per child. Only for children accustomed to the water who have already practised a similar activity.
*If the minimum number of people required is not reached, you will be refunded or your activity will be rescheduled.
*For safety reasons, the activity is not possible for people over 100 kg.
