The Neutomo agency offers you to take a seat on board a minibus of 8-9 seats to explore the lands of the Isle of Pines with friends or family.
During this half-day tour, you will discover the 8 tribes that make up the island with their myths and legends. You will pass by the emblematic places that have made the reputation of the island "the closest to paradise" and will not miss the fascinating comments of your guide. There are photo breaks along the way to capture the incredible views of the land and water landscapes.
Programme:
Departure from the accommodation by minibus at 9 am or 1 pm.
1st stop: viewpoint on the islet Brosse in the south of the island.
2nd stop: church in the village of Vao
3rd stop : St-Maurice bay and its monument with carved wooden totems
4th stop : St-Joseph bay and its traditional outrigger and sail canoes
5th stop : Queen Hortense's cave with its giant stalactites and its magnificent tropical garden on the way.
6th stop : viewpoint on the northern landscapes of the island.
7th stop: Baie de la corbeille, a beautiful protected bay in the west of the island.
8th stop : bagne des déportés, its remains of large fortresses and prisons.
Last stop to end the day in beauty: the natural swimming pool! After a 10-minute walk, you can enjoy a 1-hour swim and take photos (this stop is an option, to be specified at the start of the tour)..
Optional lunch on the beach after the morning tour of the island (to be booked the day before).
