A bush trail adventure following the GR® Nord: loop courses combining iconic GR sections with trails opened especially for the event, with several distance options including a family-friendly format. Friendly “bush & customary” vibes.
The GR Nord Raid returns in 2026 for its 2nd edition, promising an authentic trail-running adventure in New Caledonia’s Far North. The event blends iconic sections of the GR Nord with tracks and pathways opened especially for race day, delivering a true off-the-beaten-track experience.
Run by Challenge Organisation, the GR Nord Raid is as much about community spirit as it is about the challenge: a warm welcome in a customary setting, a relaxed race village atmosphere, and a chance to experience the “bush & tribe” side of the destination.
Based on the 2025 edition, several loop-style options were offered to suit different levels, from a more challenging route to a mid-distance option and a family-friendly format. On-site services may also be available (e.g., food area, toilets, free camping, post-race meal for timed runners, childcare).
2026 information to come: exact start/finish location and access details (commune/customary area), confirmed course formats and characteristics, timetable, entry details, fees, on-site services, and race rules.
