Originally a cinema and performance hall established in 1930, the REX is now a socio-cultural space dedicated to artistic practices and youth aged 12 to 26.
Managed and administered by the ADAMIC association, the REX features a cyber base with 10 stations dedicated to audiovisual projects (such as making clips, reports, and short films), two multipurpose rooms on the ground floor (one of which is dedicated to hip-hop), and a 250-seat screening room on the upper floor.
Initiated by the city of Nouméa, the REX is a cultural and youth space where various workshops are organized throughout the year, including :
