A must-do MTB event at Domaine de Déva, the Shell Pacific Mégarando brings together all ages – family rides, a sporty challenge or a timed option – with a lively, friendly event village.
A flagship event on New Caledonia’s sporting calendar since 2004, the Shell Pacific Mégarando returns to Domaine de Déva in Bourail. Run by the VTT Passion association, this one-day celebration of mountain biking welcomes everyone – from kids’ introductions and easy-going rides to more demanding formats for riders chasing a solid challenge and the clock.
Building on the momentum of a successful comeback edition with over 700 participants, the event aims to be even more festive and generous:
- A bigger, more vibrant event village with more stands and partners, like an open-air expo
- Course flow designed to encourage participants to pass through the partner village area
- Non-stop entertainment throughout the day to keep the atmosphere buzzing
- Stronger prize giveaways and more gifts to reward loyal participants
The Mégarando is also a well-oiled operation, with around 100 volunteers on hand to support safety out on the trails, smooth on-site logistics (welcome, coordination, podium moments) and the warm, social spirit the event is known for.
