Richard Bertin caught his first Atlantic salmon in Ireland when he was eight and a half years old. Nowadays, after more than 55 years of experience in fly fishing, he shares his skills with the same enthusiasm. His fishing safaris, which are real expeditions, are planned in consultation with the fishermen living in the areas visited by New Caledonia Fishing Safaris. You can practice fly fishing at sea (bonefish), casting, jigging and popper fishing on drop-offs and reefs (giant trevally, loach, frigate tuna), sport fishing (marlin, tuna, and wahoo).
