Charity trail at Cap N’Dua: guided walks, kids’ races and timed runs set between ocean views and the South Province’s natural landscapes, raising funds for the Kiwanis Club of Mont-Dore.
Run by Pro Events, the Trail de l’Espoir is a feel-good trail event held at Cap N’Dua, combining sport and solidarity in the heart of the Grand Sud. The course area showcases rugged natural scenery, sweeping coastal lookouts and the customary lands of the Atiti clan. The event’s purpose is to raise funds in support of the Kiwanis Club of Mont-Dore, with a friendly atmosphere focused on effort, sharing and community spirit.
Depending on the edition, it can also be enjoyed as a “weekend away”, with camping and a tribal meal complementing the on-course program and extending the social side of the event.
The Trail de l’Espoir typically includes:
- walk options,
- kids’ timed formats, and
- timed trail runs across several distances, with a solo option sometimes available on the long course.
The main long-distance format (around 18 km) may be listed as a PRO SERIES race and included as a round of the Trail Pro Tour.
Further details to come from the organiser, including start times, entry and registration information, rules, safety requirements, aid stations, access details and recommended gear.
