Sail around one of most magnificent bays in the Isle of Pines and New Caledonia and create enduring memories!
The Isle of Pines is not short of beautiful bays (Kuto, Or, Kanumera...) but Upi Bay, although not the most popular, is definitely the most spectacular. Located in the north of the small island of Koutomo, Upi Bay is often compared to Ha Long Bay in Vietnam because of the rocks that appear to magically float on the water. The best way to explore them is in a traditional outrigger canoe. Keep your eyes peeled for the turtles, rays and dolphins that frequent these waters. And make sure you bring your camera: the scenery at Upi Bay is among the most iconic in New Caledonia.
Canoes depart from Saint-Joseph Bay. You can usually organise your excursion through your accommodation on the Isle of Pines.
