    Enjoy a relaxing dining experience on a floating pontoon! Market-fresh food, swimming and water sports are all on the menu.
    Situated behind Sainte-Marie Island less than 10 minutes by boat from Nouméa, Le Ponton is the perfect place to get away from it all! This restaurant & bar specialising in seafood and fish from the lagoon welcomes diners (with a booking) from Tuesday to Sunday. When you arrive, you’ll notice there's a swimming area where you can snorkel and check out the fish. Don’t want to get your head wet? Try the restaurant's underwater tunnel with its 20 portholes instead! Le Ponton also rents out paddle boards and kayaks, and provides sun loungers so you can enjoy a siesta after your meal.

    Note: Le Ponton is committed to a policy of sustainable development. This includes optimising water management, working to eliminate single-use plastic and food waste, and promoting the use of green electricity.

    The Pontoon is only accessible by reservation. Departures of the taxi boat, from the Côte Blanche launch area, are scheduled between 10 am and 12 pm. Return shuttles run every hour from 2 pm (on request).

    Shuttle at 1 500 XPF per person (1 000 XPF for children under 12).

    The menu is based on the morning market (fish and seafood of the day). Examples of dishes offered between 3 300 XPF and 3 800 XPF
    - Tapas of the sea (octopus salad/shrimp a la plancha/confit of tuna/ceviche of fish of the day/fish rillettes)
    - Marinated lagoon fish fillet prepared a la plancha with a mix of accompaniments
    - Bouillabaisse of the lagoon
    - Seafood platter
    - Grilled lobster/crayfish (1 400 XPF/ 100 g)
    - Venison flank steak or marinade
