Chef Alphonse Koce awaits you in his restaurant and invites you to savour his delicious, locally inspired cuisine.
Originally from Maré, he was a student of Joel Robuchon and sous-chef at Yannick Alléno's 3 Michelin-starred restaurant in Dubai. In October 2020, he opened his first restaurant, Celeneraw —which means “from the sea to the land” in the Nengone language— in Place des Cocotiers in Nouméa city centre. Now called Pacific Good Food, the restaurant has moved to Ducos, not far from the town centre.
Dishes made using local ingredients are lifted to another level by his expertise. They include cassava carpaccio, braised chokos and parrot fish ceviche.
