In New Caledonia, immerse yourself in ultimate luxury amidst dreamy beaches and breathtaking natural landscapes, far from the crowds. Embrace the Pacific’s rhythm and indulge in a unique experience at resorts nestled in the archipelago’s most stunning bays. With views of the world’s largest lagoon and one of the Earth’s most biodiverse treasures, you’ll be enchanted by the blend of a relaxed way of life and the excitement of adventure.
Leave the everyday behind on your first day in New Caledonia! Treat yourself to an unforgettable moment of relaxation with a signature spa and massage in Nouméa. Two exceptional venues await you: the Deep Nature Spa at the Hôtel Le Méridien, offering a massage and spa package (sauna, hammam, and whirlpool bath), and the Château Royal Hotel, where you can combine a massage with an Aquatonic experience (water jets, spa, counter-current swimming).
02Step 02
Enjoy the thrill of jet-skiing
After lunch overlooking Nouméa’s bays, enjoy the thrill of jet-skiing. Perhaps you’ll spot a dolphin or sea turtle along the way?
For your second day, choose from three exceptional outings to enjoy the lagoon, coral reef, and maritime space of New Caledonia.
1/ Catamaran cruise to the southern islets
A 2-day catamaran cruise with a skipper is one of the best ways to discover the Great South Lagoon Marine Park, an unspoilt region otherwise inaccessible. Most cruises revolve around the “five islets“: Uatérembi, Ua, Uatio, Ngé, and Gi. You’ll get close to secluded beaches and islets while enjoying comfortable en-suite cabins. Relaxation, strolls, swimming, and sunsets will define these extraordinary days.
2/ Big game fishing
For fishing enthusiasts, themed cruises departing from Nouméa, organised by fishing professionals, offer the chance to hook a tuna, tazar, or even swordfish.
3/ Diving safari
If diving in New Caledonia is on your bucket list, book a 3-day diving safari from Nouméa. Explore rich and colourful marine life among magnificent coral formations. New Caledonia is internationally recognised as a biodiversity reserve and an ideal destination for diving.
Back on terra firma, explore the various facets of Nouméa, a dynamic and cosmopolitan capital. In the morning, visit one of the city’s many museums, such as the Tjibaou Cultural Centre, the Maritime Museum, or the MUZ (currently under renovation).
02Step 02
Relax on the golf course
After lunch with a sea view, unwind at the Tina golf course with panoramic views.
03Step 03
Try your luck at the Casino
In the evening, try your luck at the Casino Royal or Grand Casino or enjoy the local atmosphere at the Bingo opposite the ferry terminal.
Early morning, depart for Lifou, the largest of the Loyalty Islands. The InterContinental Lifou Wadra Bay Resort, a five-star hotel complex (opening in 2024), will be your haven of peace for the next two days. After settling into your comfortable room, enjoy the view of the turquoise lagoon.
02Step 02
Guided tour of the island
Later, take a guided island tour, including breathtaking bay views, vanilla plantations, and insights into Kanak culture and traditions.
On your second day on the island, you’ll get to meet the local people and see some of the island’s most beautiful landscapes. In Lifou, many tribes organise events where you can share a table d’hôte meal and take part in traditional workshops (fishing, weaving, visiting the fields, etc.). Take this opportunity to experience something really special, off the beaten track!
02Step 02
Discover the exceptional underwater world
The island is also the perfect place for an exceptional first dive. Lagoon Safaris takes you to the north of Santal Bay, where several coral formations are linked by arches covered in giant gorgonians. An ideal backdrop for spotting dogtooth tunas, scorpion fish and leopard sharks, to the delight of photographers.
03Step 03
Chill on a white sandy beach
End the day by relaxing on an almost deserted beach. Head to Kiki Beach, a secret beach accessible after a 30-minute walk, to Peng, Luengöni or simply to the beach of your hotel, Wadra Beach.
Enjoy a final moment of bliss in Lifou before boarding your return flight to Nouméa. Experience luxury at the Château Royal resort hotel, renowned for its design and wellness area.
Nearby, explore chic boutiques featuring handmade products by New Caledonian designers.
02Step 02
Sipping cocktails in a stilt bar
Spend your evening at Nouméa’s vibrant bays – Baie des Citrons (Lemon Bay) and Anse-Vata – where the nightlife is in full swing. A cocktail at the MV Lounge/L’Endroit/Rooftop complex overlooking the beach, a refined meal or an overwater bungalow nightclub will make your evening in the capital a memorable one.
Today, you are off to Farino, a small eco-tourism town in Western New Caledonia. Close to the Central Mountain Range, this green commune is home to the Parc des Grandes Fougères (Great Ferns Park). In this natural setting, you’ll have the chance to observe many native flora and fauna species, such as the Giant fern tree and the green pigeon. Reconnect with nature by exploring the park on horseback or on a guided tour. Take a birdwatching tour or a themed walk to learn about the numerous plant properties with Mêrêsaaba Rando.
02Step 02
A unique experience at the “Bulles de Farino”
In the evening, immerse yourself in a magical atmosphere by sleeping in a mesmerising transparent “bubble”. Comfortable and stylish, each bubble has its own private spa, deck terrace and top-of-the-range furnishings. An incredible cocoon where you can admire the starry sky with your loved ones…
From Farino, it’s just an hour to Bourail coast, with its renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site lagoon. Check in at the Sheraton New Caledonia Deva Spa & Golf Resort, located between an immense beach and a protected nature reserve. This place is a paradise for outdoor activities: golf, mountain biking, hiking or horse riding, water sports… On your first day, embark with Ouest Corail on a glass-bottomed boat trip above the coral and multicoloured fish of the lagoon.
02Step 02
Explore the unique flora of the dry forest
On land, climb to the top of the hills of Deva Domain to photograph a breathtaking panorama of the mountains and lagoon.
03Step 03
Walking along the beach
After the workout, head to the long beach of Poé for a moment of idleness, your feet in the white sand and your eyes set on the turquoise water…
One of Poé’s star activities is flying over the lagoon in a microlight, paramotor or seaplane. The thrill of this experience, combined with the scenery beneath, will leave a lasting impression on you! High visibility allows you to observe the marine species in an exceptional setting between turquoise water and green mountains.
02Step 02
1/ Horseback riding on the ridges for a 360° view
On your second day in Bourail, we suggest you get on horseback for a ride with Far West Ranch on the Deva Domain.
2/ Play a round of golf in an exceptional setting
If you’re a golf fan, head to Exclusiv Golf Deva. Its architecture, designed by the American firm Dye Designs Group, highlights the endemic nature of the archipelago and its breathtaking view over the lagoon. Close to the sea, the golf course is an 18-hole, par 72 course measuring 6,663 metres in length.

Discover the charm of Oro Bay
Leave the West Coast behind and head back to Noumea for a short 30-minute flight to the Isle of Pines, another treasure of the New Caledonian archipelago. You’ll be staying at the Le Méridien Hotel, on the marvellous Oro Bay. Its location on a white sandy beach calls for the most exquisite recharging of batteries. Lie back on one of the hotel’s sun loungers or in a romantic alcove facing the sea. Then enjoy a signature massage or immerse yourself in the bubbles and jets of a spa with a view. Feeling sporty? Borrow a paddle and kayak to skim the water’s surface in your search for sea turtles… Happiness is here, simple and accessible.
Set course for the most beautiful shores of the Isle of Pines! Here are just a few of the activities you can enjoy on a day dedicated to discovering the bays, islets and underwater world.
1/ Enjoy lobster on a wild islet
Take a boat trip to the marvellous Brosse and Moro islets, departing from Kuto beach with Mana Nautique. After a trip out to sea in search of turtles, manta rays and dolphins, you’ll have the chance to do some snorkelling to observe the fish, before disembarking on Brosse islet. Enjoy a lobster lunch on the sand of the Moro islet, under the shade of a tree. The return trip in the middle of the afternoon will give you time to enjoy an Aperol Spritz on Kuto beach at Kou-Bugny.
2/ Dive into the Garden of Eden
Marvel at the island’s seabed by scuba diving. Early in the morning, take a first dive with Kunié Scuba Center, the island’s only diving club located in Ouaméo Bay. Guided by a qualified and experienced professional, dive into the Garden of Eden, populated by colourful fishes and corals. After lunch, take a dip in the bays of Kuto or Kanuméra: these are certainly the two most beautiful beaches on the island!
3/ Photograph the island's prettiest bays
Enjoy a guided tour of the Island. Guided by a local, you’ll come across picturesque churches, majestic viewpoints, Kanak culture and legendary caves along the way!
For your last day on the Isle of Pines, finish on a high note with a traditional outrigger trip in Upi Bay. The beauty of this ride between the coral rocks set against the translucent water will leave you with beautiful memories! From your boat, observe the scenery and look out for turtles, rays and dolphins… After 2 hours on the water, the excursion continues on foot through the tropical forest to the island’s natural swimming pool. Here you can snorkel and observe the many multicoloured fish surrounded by colonial pine trees.
02Step 02
Enjoy the island's beaches
Before leaving the island, linger one last time on one of the island’s beaches: Kuto, Kanuméra or Oro…
Think big for your last moments in New Caledonia! The DoubleTree by Hilton hotel is located on the îlot Maître, 10 minutes by boat from the Port Moselle in Nouméa. Its overwater bungalow above the translucent waters and its natural setting instantly evoke feelings of serenity and isolation. In the morning, a boat will pick you up at Port Moselle to take you to the islet. Once there, you can choose between the pool, swimming in the lagoon, lazing on the beach or relaxing on a deckchair… Take your time to enjoy this timeless tranquillity.
If time allows before your departure flight, explore Nouméa’s markets and craft shops for souvenirs. Take in one last view of the lagoon and head to La Tontou-22.0129501166.2172738ta International Airport.
